How is the price for an exchange opportunity determined?

The total price of any exchange program consists of two elements :

The Registration Fees: vary depending on your home country and is paid after being accepted.
The Project Fees: this fee is fixed by your destination's entity (host entity) and may differ depending on the opportunity and city chosen. It can cover various costs needed to make the project happen (the list of the costs covered will appear if you click on more information under the price).

How is the currency converted?

The base exchange rate uses data from one or more third parties, such as OANDA. It's updated regularly, but may not be identical to the real-time market rate.

How to check the price of an exchange program?

Can the price of my exchange change?

The Registration fee is very unlikely to change, however, as the other costs are dependent on external parties they could vary.

Once you have signed the Acceptance Note for the opportunity, the price will no longer be able to change.

So, you want to know how our product "Global Volunteer" really works? All the steps? COME WITH ME THEN

In the Global Volunteer product, you will be working in an NGO for 6 - 8 weeks doing a project related to one of the SDG Goals.

After choosing for your favorite project, you apply for it and your home entity will be talking to you to guide the next steps. You will be facing the selection process, that is based in a chat with the host entity or a simple form that you will be filling in.

So, you did the selection process and got accepted? YAAAY, now you just need to talk to your home entity to sign your contract, pay the AIESEC Fee and fill your Leadership Development Assessment (LDA).

Now I'm going to do all the things by myself? Of course not! Your home entity will continue helping you with things like insurance, passport, visa, and more bureaucratic stuff.

How do I apply for an opportunity?

4. If you do not have an account, yet, the platform will ask you to sign up.

Is there any age limit?

As AIESEC believes that the youth is the key to a better future, our products are for people between 18 and 30 years old that want to live leadership experiences and fulfill their potentials.

How do I edit my account settings or profile?

To edit your account settings you first should Log In in your account. After that, in aiesec.org main page, click on your profile picture(or the first letter of your name in the case you don't have a profile picture) in the top right corner, it will appear a "Profile" button, just click in it!

In the profile settings, you can change your personal information, like name, email and add your academic or professional experiences:

Regarding Email Id Settings:

In case you wish to change your respective email-id, you need to create a new account with the desired email-id. For creating new account kindly go through the given link: How do I create an account?
